The future of oil hinges upon whether or not technological advancement can outpace the surging demand from emerging nations, writes Daniel Yergin for the Wall Street Journal today . Yergin, the pulitzer prize winning author of The Prize: The Epic Quest for Oil, Money Power , isn't optimistic that technology can keep up.
